PuTTY allows users to create their own clients, which are built on a free and open-source program. Secure Shell (SSH) is not required to access your cloud server if you run MacOS X. You should consider PuTty if you do not already have access to free or open source software.

To use PuTTY, you must first download and install it. You must install the Xcode Command Line Tools package. After entering the required credentials, you will be logged into the remote server. If the connection is successful, you will be prompted to enter the username and password for the remote server. Once you have entered the required information, click on the Connect button. In order to connect to a remote server, you will need to enter the hostname or IP address of the server in the Host Name field. Putty can now be launched from the Launchpad or the Applications folder. Once the download is complete, open the DMG file and drag the putty.app to the Applications folder.
